Newport Beach Party Time

Come out for some summer sun and fun at the Newport Beach Party today through Sunday at the Newport Dunes Resort.
The 3-day event will launch Friday night at 6 p.m. with a tasting event featuring wines from the Newport Beach Invitational Wine Competition. Participants will sample wines nominated by local and national wine professionals. The summer cocktail style event will experience food and wine from some of the finest wineries and local restaurants. Tickets to the Friday event include unlimited pours with over 100 wines to choose from, gourmet food tasting and entertainment. VIP tickets are also available.
The Saturday lineup from noon to 10 p.m. will include the Kansas City Barbeque Society’s sanctioned, Newport Beach BBQ Competition, Orange County Beer Competition and Tasting,
and OC Band Competition.
Sunday’s festivities from noon to 8 p.m. will include a wide selection of International foods to sample from local restaurants and food trucks, Special Olympics Torch Run and Lighting Ceremony, Host Town Awards with Celebrity Co-Chairs, Terry Donahue and John Robinson hosting a UCLA and USC Fundraising Challenge for Special Olympics, more craft beer and wine tasting, and plenty of local music.
There will be adventure gear to demo, games and demos all weekend long with live entertainment capping off each evening.
Proceeds will benefit numerous local Charities, including Host Town Newport Beach Special Olympics, Rotary International, Orangewood PALS, and more.
General admission cost is $20/$45 family. Special event tickets: OC Beer Competition & Tasting: $45; Newport Beach Party Wine Tasting: $45; Newport Beach Invitational Wine Competition & Tasting: $95/$195 VIP.
